She said, “Our primary objective is to nurture leaders by taking the lead ourselves. We firmly believe in not relying solely on the government’s initiatives within JCI.”

She stated that each awardee was recognised for their significant contributions to various fields, including community development, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.

Akinola stated that their tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals and communities, making them true heroes in the eyes of society.

In his acceptance speech, JCI Senator Bola Adewunmi expressed his gratitude for the honour and stressed the importance of community service and leadership.

Adewunmi encouraged others to join the mission of making the world a better place through active involvement in their communities.

Also, Adewunmi noted that the JCI Heroes Award serves as a reminder that individuals can make a profound difference in the world through their dedication and commitment to creating positive change.
