Nigerian-born British beauty queen and accountant, Queen Chichi Mbagwu, has been inducted as a United Nations International Peace and Governance Council of Africa (UNIPGC Africa), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Ambassadorship.
The First-Class graduate of Accountancy, University of Brighton, United Kingdom (UK), was inducted recently into the ambassador ship at the African Headquarters of the Mission in Abuja amidst cheers and support of her family, friends and well-wishers.
In her new ambassadorial role, Mbagwu, will be an advocate for sustainable peace building, conflict resolution, in addition to promoting the implementation of the sustainable development goals within West African sub-region and Europe.
Commending the newest inductee into the UNIPGC family, the Global president and chairman of Supreme Council of United Nations International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) Africa, His Excellency, Dr Jonathan Ojadah said, “The Supreme Council of UNIPGC Africa celebrates you and wish you a meritorious reign as you embark on this patriotic peace building journey with us.”
Expressing her appreciation of the ambassadorship, the Enugu-born beauty queen, who once made the list of the 2022 Igbere TV Leadership Excellence in her speech assured the council of her determination to attend to the objectives of the organization.
