The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has widened the scope of policing in Nigeria by embracing state-of-the-art equipment, improved intelligence, and reorientation of all personnel for attitudinal and behavioural change across the board.

Consequently, the IGP has deployed more helicopters for aerial patrol in order to strengthen security in the country.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on its verified social media handles on Saturday.

The NPF wrote: “It’s commendable as the IGP widens the scope of policing in Nigeria. The use of technology and state of the art equipment, improved intelligence, and reorientation of all personnel for attitudinal and behavioural change across the board will surely strengthen our security in Nigeria. Collectively, we can have our friendly police institution.”
