Dr Asokoro-Ogaji said the group was committed to pursuing vision, mission and goals of women in mining in the federal capital, which all boils down to promoting the economic and professional life of the members.

“Most of us women have been blessed by God and will continue giving back to the society from the blessings we have received. Women helping women, so to speak,” she said.

She commended the WIMIN president, Dr Janet Adeyemi  for the vision in setting up the group and the huge impact she has been making for women via Women in Mining platform, especially in a male-dominated field of endeavor.
