Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University, Bauchi (ATBU) has won the Govtech Public Service Award as the “Most Innovative Federal University” in the country.

The award followed an entry initiated for public university participation by the Bureau For Public Service in the Presidency where ATBU was ranked the best in Nigeria.

The director of information and public relations of the university, Zailani Nappa, disclosed this in a statement he made available to reporters in Bauchi yesterday.

He said the vice chancellor of the university, Professor Muhammad Abdul’ Aziz, received the award in Abuja.
