President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness on the death.

Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said the president expressed sympathy and condolences to the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, on the death of his brother.

Ambassador Bamalli also served in Nigerian missions in Dublin, Ireland; Accra, Ghana; as well as the State House and various departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The president joined the Bamalli family, the Zazzau Emirate and members of the Nigerian foreign service in mourning the  Magajin Garin Zazzau, describing him as an astute diplomat.
