The Director of Sexual Offences, Domestic Violence and Child Rights Unit of the Ministry of Justice Asaba,  Mrs Akamagwuna Patricia Uche who spoke to journalists on the Judgments stated that  “the offences of defilement, rape and other sex related offences are heavily frowned upon and will not be tolerated in Delta State.

“Delta State has a sex offenders register and anyone caught will definitely be prosecuted and where convicted, will have his name and photograph published. We protect our children and family from these predators. We advise residents to stop protecting sex offenders” she concluded.
