These distribution companies formed DisCos, six generating companies called (GenCos) and a transmission company called (TCN). Like I needed the lecture! I laugh whenever I recall my response to her. It’s even worse with all these new ‘Cos, Cos.’

They would have jejely left it as PHCN wallahi , because now its problems have tripled. NEPA now suffers from a multiple personality disorder! Still with the new name we still face erratic power supply. And this is not to be all out to criticise I tend to give kudos where it is due. We need to challenge the power sector, let them give us uninterrupted electricity for a whole year, just a year o and see if we will not applaud them.

The situation is so bad that people are willing to vote for a person who can just repair that sector even if it’s all he or she does during their administration.
