This was contained in a letter sent to the state Ministry of Environment that further revealed that NCCC has selected Ago Owu forest in Ayedaade local government to take off with the project that was aimed to support the implementation of the National Climate Change Action Plan and the Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement.

Consequently, at a meeting between NCCC led by Mr. Kingsley Nwajuba and the Osun State government led by the Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Mayowa Adejoorin, Nwajuba disclosed that the Project is a tripartite collaboration between the Dryada/Noblesse Green Energy, the Presidency, and the National Council on Climate Change.

According to him, the project will provide technical and financial assistance to the state to develop and implement low-carbon and climate-resilient strategies in key sectors such as forestry, agriculture, and energy.

In his remarks, Hon. Mayowa Adejoorin described the state governor, Ademola Adeleke as a friendly and approachable governor who is committed to doing everything necessary to make sure that the project becomes successful, and the state is placed in a vantage position on issues of climate change in the country and globally.
