Modibbo Adama Varsity Joins NLC Strike In Adamawa

Students of the Modibbo Adama University Yola, have been prevented from writing their examination on Wednesday as the institution joined the nationwide strike embarked by the the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

Heads of various Departments (HODs) announced the cancellation of examinations to students, who were waiting in various classrooms.

The situation was the same at Adamawa State University, Mubi as no academic activity took place in compliance to the nationwide strike.

Our correspondent observed that workers were shut out of federal and state secretariat, while security were seen at the entrance gate of the complex.
