Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, has blamed heavy spending and flamboyant lifestyle as factors responsible for their begging when they fall sick and are helpless.

The popular actress who stated that many actors make decent money while they are active and working, but their costly lifestyle, which the public expects of them, causes them to spend a lot of money in order to maintain their status as celebrities.

Ozokwo, who received the AMVCA Merit Award recently, stated that many people feel actresses are wealthy because of the clothes they wear on the red carpet, hence, they do not assist them.

This is why when they become ill, they must shoulder the weight alone, and when they have nothing left, they must resort to begging on social media.
