Land Racketeering: Uzodimma Redeploys Commissioner

In a bid to check alleged racketeering of lands and government property in Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved the immediate redeployment of the commissioner for housing, Dr Love Ineh, to the ministry of trade and investment. 

Last Thursday, Uzodimma had approved the immediate suspension of the commissioner for lands and urban planning, Hon. Noble Atulegwu and the general manager of Imo Housing Corporation, Barr Chinedu Mbakwe-Ojo. 

Sources told our correspondent that the letter of deployment for Dr Ineh had been dispatched by the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmas Iwu.
