“We are pleased to inform our members, staff of Kaduna State Ministry of Sports Development, football lovers  and the general public that plans have been concluded to play a novelty match in honour of SWAN President and the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Sports Development, Kaduna State.

“This is in view of our excitement that one of us, Isaiah Benjamin emerged SWAN President recently in Omoku, Port Harcourt, just as a sports lover, Professor Ben Gugong was appointed and confirmed as commissioner of sports,” the statement said.

It informed that the Chairman of Kaduna SWAN, Shehu Abdullahi who mulled the idea, said that   December 6, 2023  has been slated for the anticipated match, billed for  3pm at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS).
