Grinding business is a job people will refer to as ‘menial job’ because it appears to be very uninteresting, unattractive to involve in.

Do you know that grinding business has changed from what it used to be to becoming a very lucrative business, especially now that people are in a hurry to get things done quickly?

Grinding business may not make you a millionaire but it can lead you to becoming a millionaire.

The grinding business involving using a grinding machine  to grinds tomatoes and pepper, beans, corn, guinea corn, soya beans, millets, cassava, and so on for a fee. 

Currently, a small bucket of pepper costs N300 to grind while grinding of corn or beans could go as high as N1,000 or more. With the quest to always grind food before cooking and eating it on the rise, floating a grinding machine business has lots of opportunities to earn steady income.

This business will continue to strive because population is increasing every day and aside this, man must eat and some of the food will need grinding.

Also businesses are unfolding every day, new innovations are in the pipeline as most agricultural products has to be processed into finished products for easy consumption and packaging.

Grinding machine is not costly; it’s cheap and easy to maintain, hence, it’s a venture that can be floated with small capital. 

 

Business Prospects                                                            

It is self sustaining because it has the capability to provide good and reasonable income to sustain a family. Those who are into such business, especially, in residential areas are not regretting venturing into such business. It is a business that can be done passively. You can do grinding business as a side job while holding to your main job, business or occupation. 

Experts says, it is easy to start as it does not require certificate for a start. Anybody can operate the machine because it is easy to operate (not technical or complex).

 

Business Capital 

With N200,000 or less, findings revealed that one can start this business. 

 

Profitability

It is profitable in the sense that once you purchase a good grinding machine, you can continue to use it for years before replacing it, sometimes, it can last up to 10 years (depending on the type and usuage). All you have to do is to keep servicing the machine and repair minor faults as well.

The major expenses you make is the one you used in purchasing the machine. Others are occasional servicing and fuel or diesel expenses and  if you deduct the expenses, what is left is your profit.

Grinding of grains and pepper is every day affair, hence, you must have at least one person who comes to grind in a day but, in essence, many people does.

LEADERSHIP SUNDAY Findings revealed that one can make daily profit of between N2,000 and N5,000 and over a N100,000 monthly. From the business, one can make about N1.5million annually.
