Bandits Kidnap Mother, Baby, 2 Others In Abuja

A nursing mother and three children have been kidnapped by bandits in Kubwa extension II on Arad Road, Bwari Area Council.

Residents of the area said the bandits invaded the community on Sunday night from 7pm to 9pm and abducted a mother, a six-month-old baby and two other children.

A resident and board of trustees’ member of the community, Mr Francis Bobai told LEADERSHIP that the incident was the 5th in a row without security intervention. “This is the fifth time kidnappers are attacking with no action from the government,” he stated.

When contacted, spokesperson of the FCT police command Josephine Adeh said she would confirm and get back to the reporter on the incident.

However, as of press time, she was yet to respond to the questions sent to her.
