Ensure your name and information are recorded on the travel manifest. Additionally, share details of the vehicle you’re travelling in with a loved one.

3. Maintain Your Vehicle:

If travelling in your private vehicle, ensure it is well-serviced and in good condition.

4. Avoid Night Journeys:

Unless absolutely necessary, avoid travelling at night.

5. Stick to Familiar Paths:

Choose familiar routes whenever possible. If venturing into new territory, obtain a security travel advisory for the path and your destination.

6. Secure Your Home:

Before leaving for your travels, ensure your home is securely locked and adequately protected to avoid burglary.

7. Stay Connected:

Keep the phone numbers of the police commands for your destination and any areas you pass through on hand in case of emergencies.

8. Be Aware and Vigilant:

Maintain situational awareness and remain vigilant throughout your journey.

Following these simple yet important tips can significantly enhance your travel safety during this festive season. Remember, staying safe is always the most important part of your journey
