Yobe State governor Mai Mala Buni, has received the new state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Alhaji Sa’idu Yakubu Aliyu and urged him to contribute positively to the security and peace building process in the state.

The governor commended security organisations in the state for their commitment and resilience towards sustainable peace in Yobe State.

He also called for improved synergy among security organisations to build on the peace and security achieved in the state.
The new commandant pledged to support the state government in its efforts to build a lasting peace and security in the state. He assured the governor and other security agencies of positive partnership to improve security in Yobe State.
