The newly elected leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has cautioned Iyaloja Folashade Ojo to stop parading a self-declared individual, impersonating the office of the NANS President in a public function.

The students body expressed disappointment that Ojo could stoop so low to allow herself to be caught in the Web of mess attempting to use her personality to legitimise an illegitimate act.

NANS Senate president, Comr. Akinteye Babatunde, in a press statement, said “We are refraining from taking the usual route and action traditionally established to send caution and warning signal against personalities caught in such aberration of encouraging faction and self-declaration in NANS which includes but not limited to mobilization of students for protest at any public function having such figure to embarrass such person who refused to respect his or her self and stay off the student community politics.

“Just for the sake of our love and respect for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, a passionate father and lover of Nigeria student and education development, we have decided to make this public statement to send open words of caution, as well alert relevant agencies of government including the first family to call Iyaloja Folashade Ojo to order before we adopt our last approach being confrontation.

“Iyaloja should be reminded that NANS mean National Association of Nigerian students not National Association of Market Women, she have no idea of how NANS operates nor our mode of operandi, she is not familiar with the struggle of NANS, its power play and election process hence she lack jurisdiction by all standard to involve herself in what she know nothing or little about.”

He enjoined Ojo to face the women folk in market squares or possibly seek operational knowledge and join Nigeria women society council, which are the areas related to her and her personality.

“We hereby openly advise her to stay clear galvanting impersonator if she doesn’t want an embarrassment of the century, NANS have capacity to mobilize students to every public function she’s to attend with placards and different inscriptions to describe her divisive role and devilish disunity tendency exhibiting among Nigerian students.”
