Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, has applauded the Saudi Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Faisal Ibrahim Al-Ghamidy, for the unwavering support the commission has enjoyed under the diplomatic umbrella of the Saudi Embassy.
Arabi made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the ambassador at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Abuja on Wednesday.
The visit, according to a press statement signed by Fatima Sanda Usara, assistant director of public affairs, NAHCON, was aimed at strengthening ties and fostering collaboration between the two entities.
The statement added that the visit highlighted the longstanding cordial relationship between NAHCON and the Saudi Embassy with both parties engaged in fruitful discussions, acknowledging the importance of their partnership in facilitating the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
NAHCON chairman conveyed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Saudi Embassy, which has significantly contributed to the success of Hajj operations.
In a joint commitment to further enhance efficiency and collaboration, both the chairman of NAHCON and the Saudi Ambassador agreed to streamline working relations.
