NILDS DG Urges Christians To Embrace Spirit Of Forgiveness At Christmas

The director general of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman has congratulated Christians on the celebration of Christmas.

In his festive message, Prof. Sulaiman emphasised the significance of the Christmas season as a time for reflection on the virtues of forgiveness, charity, and sacrifice, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Jesus Christ.

He urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of inclusiveness, renewal, and collective prosperity, echoing the values promoted by the institute.

“As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, let’s use this occasion to exchange goodwill within our communities and extend compassion to the less fortunate among us,” he said

Suleiman expressed optimism for a hopeful future, drawing parallels between the rebirth of hope during Christmas and the positive developments in the nation with a government that advocates inclusiveness and individual prosperity.
