Nene Bejide is the founder and principal consultant at Blanche Aigle Communications, a leading marketing communications agency redefining public relations and brand communications with strategy and innovation.
Blanche Aigle Communications was a dream Nene nurtured right from her undergraduate days. Her desire is to see brands connect with their target audiences using an informed and efficient approach that yields positive results.
Her interest in the media was incited by her strong communication skills which earned her an On–air Personality role and got her elected as public relations officer during her undergraduate days.
Nene is also passionate about human capital and social development, which she showcased as the co-founder and director of the In-Service of Humanity (ISOH) Foundation, a nonprofit organisation focusing on welfare and health.
She later left ISOH Foundation to establish Blanche Aigle Communications, in 2018. According to her, “Blanche Aigle Communications provides services in public relations, digital marketing, content creation, influencer marketing, strategy development, media relations, and crisis management for an array of local and international clients in diversified sectors including FMCG, Corporate, Lifestyle, Finance, Fashion, Tech and Non-Governmental Organisations.”
She brings six years of media experience, overseeing the daily operations and management of the team at Blanche Aigle, delivering effective campaign and project execution for local and international brands in Tech, lifestyle, FMCG, and the corporate sector.
Her efforts have not gone unnoticed as Brand Communicator, organisers, and convener of the Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards (WIMCA), recently recognised Nene as one of the top 50 influential women in marketing communication.
Through the years, Nene has led the team at Blanche Aige Communications to deliver on various groundbreaking campaigns including the strategic execution of Hilda Baci’s achievement of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. This global phenomenon positions Blanche Aige as one of the leading public relations and communications agencies.
In October 2018, Nene was recognised as Guardian Woman of the Month for her media entrepreneurship drive and vision to make an impact in the marketing clime. With her outstanding leadership, Blanche Aigle Communications was selected by Business Day Media in January 2022, as one of the fastest-growing SMEs in Nigeria, following the company’s prominent works in bolstering brand image and corporate reputation.
Education And Career
Nene holds a B.Sc in Social work from the University of Lagos, a Certificate of Journalism from the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), and training in public relations writing for international professionals from the New York University, School of Professional Studies. She is also a member of the Charted Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
She started her career at the In-Service of Humanity (ISOH) Foundation, a nonprofit organization focusing on welfare and health and later established Blanche Aigle Communications in 2018.
