A group popularly known as CBN Network has announced N100 million support for 15 groups across 21 local government areas of Adamawa State for voting Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri into power in the governorship elections.

At the event in Yola over the weekend, Fintiri restated his administration’s readiness to partner groups and individuals willing to bring development to the state.
CBN Network is a support group out to advance the course of the Fintiri led administration and the empowerment of women, youths and vulnerable.

While flagging off the distribution of 21 Toyota Starlet cars, cash donation of N150,000 to the beneficiaries as well as N1 million to each local government for the empowerment of women, youths and the vulnerable, Governor Fintiri said the gesture is in line with governments empowerment policies and programmes.

Represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, he thanked the donors for the gesture aimed at appreciating the masses for supporting the present administration through CBN Network.

The governor encouraged the benefitting groups and individuals to make good use of what has been given them to develop themselves and others.

The speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Bathiya Wesley said CBN Network is a household name in Adamawa considering his contributions to government and empowerment of women, youths and vulnerable, describing the event as life changing.
He said the gesture is complementary to governments efforts in empowering the citizens and will not rest, but continue identifying with groups as well as individuals of goodwill until the standard of living of the people of Adamawa is improved.
