300 Osun Residents Benefit From Akpabio Medical Mission

A total of 300 vulnerable residents of Osun State have benefitted from a free health outreach sponsored by the Senate President Godswill Akpabio Cares Initiative.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo, the state capital during the event which witnessed such as free eye screening, free reading glasses distribution, free drugs for the beneficiaries, the special assistant to the Senate president on the new media, Ahmed Tijani, advised Nigerians to take good care of their health.

Tijani said the initiative was put together in the name of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
He also disclosed plans to move the health initiative across the six geo political zones in the country as part of the efforts to keep vulnerable Nigerians in good health

He said, “Basically, this is just giving back to the local community in the name of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, because we feel that it is important for Nigerians to look after their health.
