Tinubu Assures Niger Delta Of Sustainable Development

President Bola Tinubu has pledged his full backing for the sustainable development of the Niger Delta region, vowing to support initiatives that will spur economic growth and improve living standards.

He stated this during a meeting with the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Abubakar Momoh, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting provided an avenue for the minister to update the president on ongoing projects and initiatives spearheaded by the Niger Delta ministry.

In his address, Momoh highlighted key infrastructure interventions, community programmes and efforts to tackle environmental challenges facing the oil-rich region.

He provided details on road construction projects, skill acquisition centres, agricultural support schemes and major gas flaring reduction initiatives.

In response, President Tinubu expressed keen interest and appreciation for the ministry’s endeavours, acknowledging the critical role the Niger Delta plays in the nation’s economic and social fabric.

He commended Momoh for the progress made and the dedication exhibited in addressing the unique challenges faced by the region.

In a significant commitment to the development of the Niger Delta, President Tinubu pledged unwavering support and assistance to ensure the successful execution of projects and programmes that would bring about sustainable growth and improvement in the lives of the people in the region.
