We’re Committed to Strengthening Nigeria’s Constitution – Governors

A political group under the auspices of Kaura Ambassadors Network (KAN) has called on the Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed to pay more attention to women and youth development through skills acquisition to curb criminality and other social vices in the state.

The group said there is no price that is too much to pay for youth/ women empowerment, security and peaceful co-existence of all ethnic groups in the state.

The director-general of KAN, Barrister Muslim Maigari made the call yesterday at a dinner organised to celebrate the victory of the governor at the Supreme Court in Bauchi.
He also urged the Bala led-administration to partner with the organised private sector to catalyse his economic plans for the state.

According to him, there is an urgent need to alter the economic space in order to create more jobs and to support rapid growth of cottage industries.

“The state is blessed with an abundant youth workforce who are desperately seeking opportunities to contribute to the state’s development,” he stated.
