Speaking at the unveiling in Lagos, the CEO of Inter Lagos FC, Lanre Vigo, said harnessing, managing and promoting the talent of the players is one of the top priorities of the club.
Inter Lagos FC was established in 2023 and plays its Nigeria National League (NNL) home games at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (formerly Onikan) in Lagos. The team has played six matches, recording five wins and a draw, while enjoying a vibrant fanbase of youths as it aims to gain promotion into the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Vigo said: “I see Inter Lagos FC as a club that a young child will look forward to supporting, as we are building the right environment in the stadium that the youths, fans, and everyone else will come to support and watch games.
“We have a five-year plan to make it to the league while retaining quality players, guiding them, and ensuring their next step to propel their careers to the next level,” he stated.
The COO of Inter Lagos FC, Tosin Fashoyin, buttressed that the management takes the player’s incentives,well-being, nutrition, and development as vital as building the right environment to harness their potential.

“The team, which is barely four months old, has been making giant strides and has garnered five wins and drawn one match in the six NNL matches played so far in the season while being second on the NNL Group B league table.”
