Kano State commissioner of police, Muhammad Gumel, has called on the residents of the state to support the fight against crime in the state.
The commissioner made the call during a brief ceremony to honour Ambassador Sani Adamu Geza for his untiring support to the police command and other security agencies in the state.

He said his gesture has gone a long way in the fight against crime and criminal elements around the state.
CP Muhammad Gumel, who was represented by ASP Mudassir Bashir Ringim, explained that the command decided to honour Ambassador Sani Adamu Geza specifically for building a mosque and toilet facilities for the police at the Unguwar Kurna Police Station in Dala local government of the state. He therefore called on other citizens to support security agencies to ensure the protection of life and property.
