Yobe State Coordinator of Great United Voice of Nigeria, Hon. Aliyu Buba Amshi, has called on Nigerians not to vote for the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming general election in 2027.

Speaking to journalists in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, on Friday, he stated that the APC has plunged Nigeria into a land of hunger.

According to him, Nigerians have suffered enough under the government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, due to incompetence and poor leadership.

Amshi pointed out that the number of people killed since the inception of the APC government is so high that it is impossible to keep an accurate record. People are suffering day and night.

He advised Nigerians, wherever they are, not to vote for the APC again. Nigerians should not even discuss the APC anymore after its failures in various sectors since the assumption of office by Bola Ahmed.

He added, “There is so much hunger and killing in the land that we have never witnessed before. So, if care is not taken, something will happen.”

He also accused the ruling party of contributing to the menacing activities of herdsmen, which have displaced many farmers and agrarian communities in the country, posing a grave threat to Nigeria’s food security.

He called on past presidents of Nigeria, governors, opposition presidential candidates, and religious leaders not to despair but to join the ongoing efforts to rescue and rebuild Nigeria by helping to vote out the APC in 2027.
