The convener, Operation Rebuilding The Broken Walls, Apostle Dr Paul Akinselure, has said Nigeria needs good leadership, peaceful environment and righteousness for the country to overcome her many challenges and be saved from falling apart.
Speaking in a media chat in Abuja, and drawing from biblical references and social observations, Pastor Akinselure attributed the current state of the country to the failure of leaders in fulfilling their true leadership roles.
He lamented that many leaders are reckless, heartless, selfish, wicked and have no concern for the masses.

“We all know that we are blessed and endowed by the Lord God Almighty but we are lagging behind in management. Our leaders are so reckless, heartless, selfish, and wicked. They don’t have the love of God and the love of the masses.

“They are not going into the place of authority to represent the interests of the poor masses but their own selfish interests, and it is a pity that most of the poor masses too are not helping the matter because they are so ignorant,” he said.

Addressing societal ignorance, especially among educated youths, Pastor Akinselure underscores the importance of civic engagement in effecting positive change. He also urged Nigerians to actively participate in shaping the country’s future.
