The leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamakko has commiserated with victims of the fire incident at the motorcycles and tricycles’ section of the Sokoto Central Market which razed many shops and stalls in the early hours of Monday.

The former Governor, while sympathizing with the victims of the unfortunate incident described it as the will of Allah and called on them to take heart.

Senator Wamakko, in a statement by Bashar Abubakar, his Special Assistant on Media, also used the medium to pray to Allah, to prevent the recurrence of such disaster.

LEADERSHIP recalls that a fire outbreak occurred in the early hours of Monday where 44 shops, 110 non-permanent shops and 24 stores with several items including motorcycles, bicycles, and herbal medicines worth millions of naira were razed by the inferno.

The former Sokoto State governor however expressed delight that no life was lost as a result of the inferno.
