The governor stated this at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Hajj Camp where he hosted top civil servants, the leadership of organised labour as well as other stakeholders to Ramadan iftar.

He said the government and people of the state appreciated the dedication, zeal and commitment of the workforce, describing them as the engine room for the execution of development projects.

In his response, the state’s head of civil service, Yahuza Adamu Ningi, commended the governor for improving the working and living condition of the civil servants in the state through the renovation of offices in MDAs as well as prompt payment of salary in the state.

He therefore urged the civil servants to replicate the gesture by supporting the implementation of policies and programmes of the present administration in the state.
