Stakeholders of Obingwa West constituency have described the performance of the member representing the constituency in Abia State of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu as uncommon.
At an event to mark the birthday of Erondu in his country home in Uhie, they said he had touched the lives of the people positively in many ways.

A stakeholder from Osaa Ikea, Uchechukwu Nwandiko commended the lawmaker for his unwavering commitment and passion for helping the vulnerable and the less privileged in the society.
Nwandiko, who said his son is a beneficiary of Erondu’s scholarship scheme, urged other politicians in the constituency to emulate the legislator who he described as God-sent to them.
One of the beneficiaries of the legislator’s Free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Registration, Enyioma Gift from Mgboko Umuanunu congratulated him for the occasion.

She explained that she had almost given up hope of registering for the examination due to financial constraints but was given hope through the lawmaker’s intervention.
Similarly, George Egejuru, his spokesperson said the lawmaker had built over 42 houses for widows and the less privileged both within and outside the constituency as well as civic centres and council halls for some communities.

“He has also awarded scholarships to indigent students in the state, provided potable water, street lights, transformers to some communities, and empowered youths with cars, motorcycles and tricycles.”
Egejuru further described him as epitome of modesty and humility in spite of his achievements, adding that the estate management expert is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum.

“Uchenna Erondu is a community leader, who believes in scholar of social enterprises, which states that where people-oriented brand purpose is aligned and properly executed, community progress is inevitable”.
They prayed to God to grant the House Committee chairman on Public Service more blessed years ahead, robust mental, and physical energy to continue in the service of humanity.
