The College of Medical Sciences of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi has inducted 25 medical doctors. They took the oath yesterday in Bauchi.
The registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Dr Fatima Kyari, who administered the oath, said the induction was the first graduating step for the medical doctors who will go into the field to administer health services and ensure the well-being of Nigerians.

She tasked the inductees to deploy the training acquired throughout their years of learning to improve the quality of medical services in Nigeria.
Kyari warned the new doctors to strictly adhere to code of ethics guiding professionals in the profession.
The registrar commended the efforts of ATBU vice chancellor, Professor Ahmed Mohammad Abdul‘aziz, for putting standard equipment in place for teaching and learning of medical practice in contemporary times.
