Mutfwang, in a message signed by the director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, urged citizens to embrace the essence of love, sacrifice, and peace as embodied in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He emphasized that Easter provides an invaluable opportunity to contemplate God’s plan for humanity’s salvation which was fully realised through Christ’s resurrection.

The governor commended Christians who observed Lent, believing that the lessons learned have deepened their spiritual connection.

“I urge us to live out our faith in God and in our interactions with fellow citizens, not letting Easter pass as a mere ritual. Let it serve as a reminder of God’s boundless love, demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.
