Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has condemned the attack on a vehicle belonging to the lawmaker representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Mr Chris Ayebusiwa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ayebusiwa had, on Saturday, raised the alarm that his GAC official car was assailed by some hoodlums on Oba Adesida Road, Akure.

He said that three of his staffers, including the driver and security officer, were inside the vehicle.
Oladiji, in a statement issued by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Chief Olatunji Oshati, in Akure on Sunday, described the attack as barbaric.
He expressed displeasure with the development, urging individuals to refrain from pointing fingers at any group.

The speaker called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter, with a view to bringing perpetrators to book.

Oladiji, who sympathised with Ayebusiwa on the incident, described the action of the attackers as uncalled for, noting that it was capable of disrupting the existing peace in the state. (NAN)
