The National Convener of Soludo Solution Group (SSG), Mr Chinedu Nwoye, yesterday inaugurated the maiden SSG campaign awareness team for the reelection of Gov. Charles Soludo second term bid.

Inaugurating the team at the Ochanja Central market in Onitsha, Anambra, Nwoye lamented that enemies of the state have continued to paint the governor black in spite of his numerous achievements.

He urged the traders and general public to disregard the antics of the opposition whom, he said, never looked at the good side of things but aimed at tarnishing the good image of the governor who had touched all sectors of the economy.

The convener noted that the rapid infrastructural development of the state had made the people to have confidence in the governor pledging that he would achieve more before the end of his first tenure. (NAN)

He listed the achievements of the governor to include rehabilitation of about 400 kilometers of roads of which about 240 kms had since been completed and put to use, provision of water, security and employment of 5,000 teachers.

Other achievements were; employment of 1000 medical personnel, sack of touts, provision of solar street lights, creation of employment opportunity through one man two skills initiative, among others.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the market, Mr Bonaventure Muo, expressed satisfaction with the choice of Ochanja Central market as the venue of the inauguration and attributed it to the good performance of the leadership of the market.

Muo vowed not to be distracted by the opposition in his focus to develop the market even as he said that he accepted good criticism as a way of making any leadership to sit up.

He stated that those inaugurated would now spread the good news like the Biblical Apostles of Jesus Christ, to fish more men for the SSG.

In his remarks, the Youth wing leader, Mr Shedrack Anigbogu, who spoke on behalf of the newly inaugurated members, expressed satisfaction with the event.

Anigbogu promised that his group would penetrate the interior to get more supporters for the task ahead.

The youth leader boasted that with the calibre of the composition of the SSG in Ochanja market, the sky would be their limit in this task of spreading the good news of the governor. (NAN)
