Anam who already passed out from the one-year mandatory national service with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), had in the video, returned to her father’s thatch house in their village and filmed herself marching towards her dad, honouring him with a military salute learnt from the NYSC orientation camp.

The salute showed Anam’s appreciation to her father who she later decorated the NYSC cap and jacket for availing her opportunity to go to school despite his poor state.

Sighting the video, Governor Out dispatched a delegation to the Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area residence of Miss Anam for background check.

Upon the team’s verification of the story that prompted the Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umo Eno of the sister state to build a three-bedroom flat for the corps member’s father, Governor Otu decided to grant her automatic employment as a mean to encourage young people not to be despise their family background.
