Tinubu’s Economic Policy Yielding Positive Results, Says Basiru

National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru has said the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu led administration are already yielding positive results.

He spoke at a media parley with journalists in Osogbo, Basiru said the focus of President Tinubu economic policy is to give the naira global value that would guarantee its global integrity.

According to him, the removal of fuel subsidy has impacted positively on infrastructural development nationwide, adding that governors now have more money at their disposal for infrastructural development.

On currency subsidy removal, Basiru expressed delight that the naira is gaining strength per day adding that the global true value of the Naira is unfolding which is bound to liberate Nigerians from black marketers.

Also speaking on removal of electricity subsidy, the APC scribe said the price of units of electricity will soon come down especially now that states can generate their power thereby giving room to competition.

Ajibola who commended President Tinubu for taking the bull by the horn with strong political will to tackle the nation’s economic problems charged Nigerians to be patient and expect the dividends of the economic measures soonest.
