Also, at least five of the remaining agitators were arrested by the security operatives and the suspects are currently in custody of the security operatives in Ibadan.

Meanwhile, Yoruba nation advocate, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has dissociated himself from the incident.

Igboho who is a known leader of the Yoruba nation agitation said that proper investigation should be carried out to fish out the people behind the attack and their sponsors.

The Yoruba Nation activist called on Governor Seyi Makinde to carry out thorough investigation to ascertain the motive behind the invasion, urging that those responsible should be arrested and prosecuted.

Igboho further reiterated his commitment to the peace and security of Yorubaland, emphasising that he would never be part of anything whatsoever that could disturb the peace of the region.
