A Bauchi State-based civil society organisation (CSO), Glitter Sparkling Heart Foundation, has expressed appreciation to members of the public and corporate bodies that supported its Ramadan free feeding and clothes distribution programme in Bauchi.

The message of appreciation was contained in a press statement by the executive director of the foundation, Saudatu Mohammed Abdullahi, made available to journalists yesterday in Bauchi.

Saudatu said that the impact made during the Ramadan feeding and clothes distribution programme was remarkable, and that such initiative could not have been possible without the contributions and overwhelming generosity of good spirited members of public and corporate bodies within and outside the State.

“In these challenging times, when many individuals and families are facing hardships and struggling to meet basic needs, your support has been nothing short of a beacon of hope”.

“Your willingness to lend a helping hand and contribute to our cause has brought solace and relief to countless lives within the 20 Tsangaya of Almajiri and street beggars we supported during the just concluded Ramadan Fast,” she said.

The statement further said that providing nourishing meals and essential clothing, have not only addressed the immediate needs of those in need, but also restored their sense of dignity and self-worth.

“It is not just the monetary support that you have provided, but also the compassion, empathy, and love that have made a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.

“Your willingness to extend a helping hand and demonstration of kindness to strangers is an attestation to the strength of our community and the power of unity,” she added

Saudatu Abdullahi also registered her appreciation to the team at the foundation who have dedicated their time and energy to make the initiative a success.
