The command’s public relations officer, Maureen Chinaka (ASP), stated this in a statement issued to newsmen in the capital, yesterday.

The statement said the director of the hotel along Factory Road, had reported to the police that four military personnel had inflicted various degrees of injuries on four staff of the hotel.

“One of the staff, James Etubi, slumped and was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor,” the statement explained.

According to the statement, the body of the deceased had been deposited at the mortuary of the undisclosed hospital.
