The West Africans defeated Banyana Banyana of South Africa 1-0 on aggregate to seal a place at Paris 2024.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP on her ambitions for the upcoming Olympics, Monday expressed confidence in her team’s abilities while acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead.

She said “The team is United, resilient and determined. If we build on our performance at the last World Cup in Australia, we can win a medal for Nigeria.

“We are in a tough group and I know it won’t be easy, our main objective is to qualify from the group once we achieve that anything is possible.
