Similarly, six district heads namely, Marafan Tangaza, Sarkin Gabas Kalambaina, Bunun Gongoro, Sarkin Kudu Yar Tsakatawa, Sarkin Tambuwal and Sarkin Yamma Torankawa are dropped for the haphazard and unprocedural processes in their appointments by the immediate past administration, as well as their rejection by their subjects.

Their dethronement and subsequent reinstatement, according to a press release issued last night by the chief press secretary to governor Abubakar Bawa, is with immediate effect.

He said the district heads were relieved of their appointments for various offences bordering on insubordination, aiding insecurity, land racketeering, conversion of public properties for personal use and in the overriding public interest.

The decision was part of the recommendations by the committee set up by the state government to review the appointments of traditional rulers, renaming of tertiary institutions and the dissolution of governing boards of state parastatals other than the statutory bodies and subsequently, approved by Governor Ahmed Aliyu.
