Forum Assures Tinubu Of Victory In Elections

All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders Forum, Bayelsa State, have vowed to win all elections in the state.

The leaders, who spoke with reporters in Asaba, Delta State, said all they need is President Bola Tinubu’s support to their reconciliatory efforts.

Led by its chairman, Chief Samuel Yousuo and the scribe, Elder Ebigoni Gabriel, the forum advised President Tinubu to retrace his steps over any alliance with Gov Douye Diri.

They reminded the President that Governor Diri who worked against his interest in the 2023 presidential polls was already working with some northern Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members for the 2027 election.

According to them, Governor Diri’s romance with the presidency may not be unconnected with the 2023 Bayelsa governorship being disputed at the State Election Petition Tribunal.

They mocked Governor Diri for lacking political clout in his party and that no political leader of note in the PDP would be decamping with him if he dares to cross-carpet.

“Bayelsa APC does not need Diri; we are capable of winning without him if the president supports our reconciliatory efforts.

“The president should be wary of Governor Douye Diri. As your trusted ally in Bayelsa State, we are using this medium to let you know that Diri can’t keep faith with anyone.

“He has abandoned all PDP leaders in the state. We are writing to let you know that he has no electoral value. So, his coming to the APC will be a big baggage for us. Diri is doing all he can to curry your favour as he is afraid of being removed by the tribunal,” Yousuo stated.
