Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a major blow ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League semi-final second leg clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The Ligue 1 champions are already trailing following a 1-0 defeat in Germany last week and have since lost key defender Lucas Hernandez to injury.

Hernandez tore his ACL in his left knee during the first leg and will now miss the upcoming European Championship for France, too.

January signing Lucas Beraldo is primed to take his place in the PSG backline, though manager Luis Enrique also has Milan Skriniar as an option, who is back from injury but lacks full match fitness. Danilo Pereira with Marquinhos could also be partnered for sturdier presence in the air.

In attack, Enrique may be tempted to turn to the likes of Lee Kang-in, Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani following so many missed chances last week.

Dortmund, meanwhile, are unlikely to make too many changes to the team which earned last week’s victory.
