This is just as the school honoured ex-Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan with an award of ‘Most supporting individual’, alongside others.

“I want to congratulate NTIC for the  good works it is doing for the past 25 years for raising and bringing up their students for harmonious living together across all boundaries of religion, ethnicity and social positions.

“This is very important in our country Nigeria, even more important than academics.”

Meanwhile, the school also presented awards to longstanding staff members, supportive institutions, and outstanding parents and alumni, honoring their dedication and contributions, including the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) champions of 2024.

It would be recalled that no fewer than 60 students of the school scored over 300 in the just concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The Managing Director of the college, Feyzullah Bilgin, said two of the students scored 356 each in the examination organized by JAMB.

Reflecting on the institution’s remarkable journey spanning a quarter-century, Mr. Bilgin recounted NTIC’s humble beginnings in Abuja with a modest enrollment of eight students and twelve staff members.

“Today, NTIC’s legacy has expanded to encompass 16 branches across Nigeria, a testament to its enduring impact on education.”

Highlighting the pivotal role of education in societal progress, Mr. Bilgin underscored NTIC’s firm commitment to providing inclusive educational opportunities to young Nigerians.

In this regard, he said about 20% of its students are currently on scholarship.

He further underscored the institution’s commitment to offering a comprehensive education by implementing both the Nigerian and Cambridge Curricula.

“This approach has enabled students to excel not only in academic disciplines such as Sciences, Mathematics, and Arts on the global stage but also to achieve notable feats in sports, thus exemplifying NTIC’s holistic educational philosophy.”

Also speaking, the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Jalal Arabi, who was the former chairman of Parent Teachers Association (PTA) of the school, commended the staff of the Institution, encouraging them to be dedicated and courageous

He also urged the parents to continue believing in the staff, while advising them to do better.

The Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, said: “With the gift of quality education and personal/character development, NTIC has provided in the past 25 years, its services in the Nigerian education system no doubt represent a significant part of our history as a nation.”
