Forbes Names Real Madrid World’s Most Valuable Club

Real Madrid have been named as the most valuable football club in the world by Forbes for the third year in a row, in view of the club’s fortunes valued at 6.6 billion dollars.

According to the list, Real Madrid are on top with a market value of $6.6 billion (€6.08 billion), with Manchester United closely trailing them at $6.55 billion (€6.04 billion).

Barcelona are an entire billion behind their rivals, sitting at a market value of $5.6 billion (€5.16 billion).

This valuation has certainly dropped across the last few years, especially following the departure of Lionel Messi and other marketable superstars.

Liverpool and Manchester City complete the top five, with their respective market values sitting at $5.37 billion (€4.95 billion) and $5.1 billion (€4.7 billion).
