The lawmaker spoke at the 2024 inter-schools debate organised by the Oyo State office of the National Productivity Centre (NPC) with the topic “5S Good Housekeeping is More Advantageous than 3R for Productivity Improvement,” following the productivity coaching and mentoring lectures held for schools.

Alli, who was represented by Dr Salaudeen Olaide, noted the importance of productivity in the growth and development of any nation.

He said that a country willing to be productive must instill productivity culture in its youths, adding that, “The programme, if properly executed, will enhance and improve the productivity culture of generations yet unborn and result in robust growth in all spheres of life of the next generation.”

In her remarks, NPC Oyo State coordinator, Mrs Kehinde Adeyemi said the competition had over the years, helped to inculcate productivity consciousness in students, improving their capacity and efficiency.

She disclosed that the competition’s winner would represent Oyo State at the National Productivity Debate in Abuja on a date to be communicated.
