Woman Murdered In Sokoto Hotel

The Sokoto State Police Command has confirmed the gruesome killing of a middle-aged woman in a hotel where she went with her alleged killer.

The gory incident was confirmed by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ahmed Rufai, in a telephone interview with our correspondent.

Confirming the incident, ASP Rufai said, “The deceased was found dead with a slit throat in the toilet of the hotel room.

“The police have commenced investigation and have gathered useful information from documents the suspect left in the hotel room.”

Sources close to the deceased identified her as a divorcee mother of four who occasional visit the hotel where young girls used to hang around for commercial sex services.
