Paying tribute to security personnel who lost their lives in the course of securing the state, Sani said, “They shall never be forgotten. In this regard, I have directed the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs to name the Ministry’s Conference Hall after Lt. Col. AH Ali, who had served and contributed immensely to the security of Kaduna State when he was Commanding Officer, 198 Special Forces Battalion, before he was transferred to the South-South, where he, along with his officers and soldiers, lost their lives. May their souls rest in peace”
